Gandhi Tribute in Amsterdam Brings Peace Advocates Together
Indian and Dutch participants came together in the Dutch capital for a commemoration of Gandhi’s legacy, bringing together the Gandhi Global Family and the Church of Scientology Netherlands around human rights, peaceful cooperation and non-violence.
Held at Gandhi’s statue on Churchilllaan, the event included Ram news eu italy budget Mohan Rai, General Secretary of Gandhi Global Family, Scientology representatives and human rights advocates. Discussions also explored future cooperation in human rights education and youth engagement.
The Church of Scientology’s support for human rights education is inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, who encouraged Scientologists to support initiatives advancing fundamental human rights.
Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Amsterdam meeting as an example of civic responsibility across cultures, stressing that knowledge of human rights can strengthen peaceful and democratic societies.
